This museum with its bold architecture is located in the Halls area. It houses one of the most important collections of modern art in the world. Here you will find works of art by Matisse, Braque, Léger, Picasso, Kandinsky.

The Sacré Coeur - 18th arr.
This Roman Byzantine style basilical, situated on the hill of Montmartre, overlooks the whole of Paris. The inside contains several decorative treasures : marble sculptures, stained glass windows and mosaics.

The Eiffel Tower - 7th arr.
Erected in 1887 by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Universal Exhibition, it is the most representative symbol of Paris. With a height of 300 metres, it is the tallest structure in the city.

Maillol Museum- Dina Vierny Foundation
Dina Vierny was the model of the sculptor Aristide Maillol. In the Bouchardon hotel she built a museum dedicated to the works of Maillol. On permanent exhibition are also the works of Kandinsky, Gauguin, Bonnard, Serge Poliakoff...

Carnavalet Museum
Right in the heart of the Marais, not far from the place des Vosges, the Carnavalet Museum houses the memory of Paris. This impressive architectural ensemble contains 140 rooms dedicated to the history of Paris, from it's origins to today.

The Picasso Museum
The Museum dedicated to the Spanish master of Modern Art can be found in the hotel Salé. It offers a chronological route that starts in the large rooms on the first floor of the hotel and follows on towards the old stables that are in the sculpture garden.

The Cluny Museum The National Museum of the Middle Ages is installed in two exceptional Parisian monuments: the Gallo-Roman thermal baths and the Cluny abbots hotel. It was founded in 1843 thanks to the collections of an amateur, Alexandre Du Sommerard, who had a passion for the Middle Ages.

The Guimet Museum

The Père Lachaise Cemetery

Squares and Gardens

Jardin de Bagatelle
An English garden, created in the XVIII century for Queen Marie-Antoinette. Acquired in 1904 by the city of Paris who added a rose garden and theme gardens which are now dedicated to rose collections and competitions.

Parc Montsouris
This park has more than 1000 trees, some of which are over 100 years old. Here you will discover several sculptures as well as a weather observatory and a 5 meter high stone obelisk, landmark of the Paris meridian line.

The Jardin des Plantes

Barbizon
