This rather outlying area has for the most part been redeveloped and now houses a growing number of offices and shops. The new complex "Bercy Village" encompasses several shops, restaurants and cinemas. Furthermore, due to the extension of the express metro line "Météor", the Lyon and Bercy stations are just a few minutes away from the center of Paris.
