The two stations that are terminals for trains coming from the east of England, are a five-minute walk from each other. They are also a crossing point for several metro stations, and from Gare du Nord it is a direct journey to Roissy and Orly airports as well as the Parc des Exposition at Villepinte (line B on the RER).

The Canal Saint Martin crosses the north of Paris and offers this lively and popular area a calm and peaceful aspect.
